Kevin Fricke, who has been vacationing at our resort since he was a kid, was recently featured on multiple twin cities news stations for catching this monster 52 inch Muskie. His parents, Mike and Patti Fricke, along with his brothers Ken and Brian have been fishing Lake Shamineau for many years...even before we bought the resort back in 1974!

Only an idiot would keep a fish like that, and this man did. With a low density fish such as a muskie and the advancements in replica technologies, it is pure stupidity at it worst.
That monster WAS released and is still swimming in the waters of Shamineau for others to enjoy catching.
if he comes to the west side of the lake, he's all mine!
NICE FISH have seen many monsters like that one in the lake the last few years.I cant wait until the fishing opener.
